Famke Heeg (Piano)

Famke is a piano instructor with over ten years of playing experience and training up to the Royal Conservatory of Music Grade 8 level. She specializes in teaching beginners and enjoys helping students build strong musical foundations in a supportive and encouraging environment. With experience leading bands, playing collaboratively, and serving on the music production team at her church, she brings a well-rounded and practical approach to learning music.

In addition to her musical background, Famke holds a college diploma in Educational Support and is a trained Educational Assistant with experience working with children and youth from elementary through high school. Her lessons are patient, adaptable, and tailored to each student’s learning style, helping beginners grow in confidence while developing a genuine love for music.
Famke charges $30 per half hour.

Ron Lamarche (Guitar, Mandolin, Bass Guitar, Slide Guitar, Harmonica)

Ron is a passionate guitarist who loves to teach and perform. He has over 30 years of experience in classical guitar, electric guitar (Rock, Blues, Slide and Bass), mandolin, flute and harmonica (blues harp) and is knowledgeable in live mixing as well. He has taught numerous students over the years and helped them grow their musical careers playing at live events. He began his career as a classical guitarist studying at McGill University and later in Ottawa in conjunction with the Carleton University Classical guitar program. His greatest pleasure is watching his students progress and realizing their full potential.
Ron charges $30 per half hour.

Steve Dennison (Drums)

Steve Dennison is an instructor trained through the Royal Canadian Sea Cadets with over ten years of experience in marching, concert, jazz, and rock bands. He currently performs with several local groups to stay active in the community. This background helps him bring a practical and disciplined approach to every lesson.

His teaching style focuses on taking snare drum fundamentals and applying them directly to the drum set. This method helps beginners build a solid foundation quickly and with more confidence.
Steve charges $30 per half hour.
