Private lessons include individual, weekly instruction by professional adult musicians. Monthly tuition payments reserve a weekly lesson time, allowing teachers to prepare specialized curriculum. Students are expected to practice daily at home to maintain consistent progress.
Group Lessons
Group programs are a great way to develop listening skills and confidence, working together to create musical outcomes. Sessions include small group instruction and performance opportunities. All students must be committed to attendance and involved in class participation. See current group lesson opportunities below.

Denise started learning the violin at 5 years old and achieved a Bachelor of Fine Arts honours music studying classical, jazz, and folk violin at York University, as well as improvisation and composition. A multi-instrumentalist she has also studied piano, vocal, flute, viola, cello and guitar. She has played in various orchestras since the age of 9. Denise is a highly adaptive teacher who works with students to set goals and find a practice routine that works with their lifestyle as well as modifying songs they enjoy to suit their current skill level.
Denise's rate is $28/half hour

Emerald has built a professional career in classical music and music pedagogy specializing in piano and woodwinds. She holds a Bachelor of Music from McGill University and a Master of Music from Trossingen Musikhochschule in Germany. Emerald has taught for years students of all ages both in Canada and abroad. Aside from English, she speaks Mandarin, German and French. Her unique approach combines North American and European pedagogy and focuses on correct body use, musical understanding and having fun!

Hiatt is a piano teacher and tuner: enthusiastic about everything to do with pianos! He started playing classical piano when he was five, but these days mostly explores jazz, popular and modern fusion styles. He has a Level Ten RCM Comprehensive certificate, and likes to teach a combination of RCM progression and improvisation/popular piano techniques.

Lada has been teaching piano and theory for over 10 yrs and is active in preparing students for competitions and RCM exams. Her teaching approach is goal oriented and nurturing. Her students continue to excel receiving 1st place and over 90%. She coaches singers and performs as an accompanist for auditions and competitions.

Leonid has an extensive international experience in music performing, conducting, and teaching piano, woodwinds, brass, and music theory at different levels, from individual to university. Leonid regularly presents his research at leading music education conferences around the world and publishes in periodicals and essay collections in Canada and internationally. He is a multi-instrumentalist and speaks several languages. He teaches students all ages, using student-centred teaching methods, which helps them develop essential music skills, but most importantly have fun and enjoy!

Michelle is a passionate singer-songwriter from Woodbridge, Ontario. As a graduate from the York University Jazz Voice program, Michelle welcomes students of all ages and genres. She has received her grade 9 voice and grade 8 piano with the Royal Conservatory of music, and continues to strengthen herself as a musician by frequently performing across the GTA with her band.

Sophie is a happy teacher and performer, studied violin as major, piano, voice, solfege, composition in an “intense” music academy in Japan since 3, acquired absolute pitch by 8. Mom was the master Japanese harpist, and her first violin teacher was the best student of renowned violinist (Hisako Tsuji). While fully aware of the joy of having music in human life, she knows the responsibility and importance of self-discipline, how to balance/enhance life with musical learning experience. She loves connecting people together and connecting herself with people, through teaching, creating music together. Always music projects on hand. Never stop learning.

tase stojanoski (Piano, Strings, Viola, Violin)

Tase earned his degree from the University of Sarajevo, Bosnia and is registered with the RCM. For more than 15 years Tase was a Concert Master for the Macedonian National Opera Orchestra and collaborated with a number of Ontario orchestras and bands. His repertoire includes: classical, pop, jazz and folk. He inspires his students and personalizes lessons to the student's needs.
Tase's rate is $29/half hour.
