Hunter Watkins

A self-taught guitarist and low brass player, Hunter used his prior knowledge of musical theory to learn guitar at an accelerated pace. His influences vary significantly, from classic rock and classical to anything in between. His two main influences for these genres are Pink Floyd and Johann Sebastian Bach. As a musician who started his journey at the age of 10 years old, he is thrilled to have the opportunity to help students of all ages embark on their lifelong musical journey.

Andrew has been studying music at this location when it was Academy of Music, since age 8. After studying at Mohawk College he came back as a teacher and has over two years experience. Andrew has his grade 10 RCM in piano and has studied under concert pianist Alexei Gulenco.

His rate is $23/ half-hour private lesson.

david wilkins (Guitar, , , Ukulele)

David has sung in choirs since his childhood, played trumpet and bass and guitar in the group Pink Cadillac, as well as in gospel groups and at church. He has been a musician for over 50 years, and teaching music for 35 years. His half hour rate is $23 per half hour.

Emily has been playing violin since her childhood. She is well versed in classical and contemporary as well as fiddle music. Emily has been teaching in the Tillsonburg area for approximately three years.

Since graduating from Humber College for Jazz in 1994, and also studying Classical guitar with Eli Kassner (former head of Classical guitar at the University of Toronto). Johnny has performed with some amazing talent-The Toronto Mass Choir, Pat & Debbie Boone, Kathy Troccoli, Mark Masri (The Tenors), Robin Mark, Dan Macaulay, Andy Timmons, Gary Hoey, For The Master, The Tonettes, Ben Heppner, Kevin Pauls, and many others) and has played at some amazing venues (FirstOntario Centre, Scotia Bank Arena) as well as many Jazz Festivals, Churches and Theatres. Johnny has also performed/produced many themes/commercials for film, television and radio (Michael Coren Show, Huntley Street and CTS themes, Energizer, Canadian Tire, Hard Music Library, YouTube Fireplace Channel Christmas themed, etc).

matthew bray (Drums)

Having played music since high school, Matthew is well versed in drum theory and techniques. He's been in various bands through his 24 year career, releasing an EP and full length album during that time. He is well trained in various percussion instruments and kits, as well as styles such as rock 'n roll, jazz, hip hop, alternative, R&B, and metal. Matthew has been teaching for 4 years.

snezana laketa (Piano, Theory)

Snezana has achieved her ARCT in piano pedagogy studying under professor Ella Poret. Snezana has been teaching for almost 15 years and has sent many students to RCM exams with great success. Snezana has a deep love of music that shows in her students.
