Specializing in making music a passion, Long & McQuade Summerside is PEI's newest Lesson Centre. For the past decade, our Lesson Centre's have given thousands of people the opportunity to learn music with our well qualified instructors and fully furnished lesson studios. With instruction in a wide range of instruments, including guitar, ukulele, bass guitar and piano, we have experienced and passionate instructors that will be happy to help you achieve your musical goals. Heather has been playing the piano since the age of 8 and studied under the Royal Conservatory of Music. She began teaching piano in 1997. Whether a student is seeking accreditation or wanting a more informal program, Heather’s goal is to help her students discover all the benefits and joy that music can offer. She enjoys a variety of genres of music, but one that is extra special to her is Bluegrass. Heather and her family have a Bluegrass band that performs at festivals, fundraisers and for church events. She also enjoys working with her family on their homestead raising their animals and growing food. Heather's rate is $26 per half hour lesson.
