Original site of the Cornwall Bowling Palace built in 1998, it saw strong years as a community staple until it was eventually redesigned into a call centre for TTEC. When the call centre transitioned to work-from-home over the COVID-19 pandemic, it was later sold and purchased by Long & McQuade in 2023.

Waiting until the timing was right for both the local music scene and company support, we’re happy to be opening our doors in November 2025 to the city of Cornwall.

Our 8,000+ square foot retail store will see sales and service in Guitar, Bass, Drums, Percussion, Piano, Orchestral, and Band Instruments. With a built-in lesson centre, our six individually designed lesson studio rooms will provide the ability for anyone of all age and experience levels to start or continue their musical journey.

Long & McQuade Musical Instruments was formed in 1956, when Jack Long set up a small store on Carlton Street in Toronto on the second floor of a house. Long & McQuade began expanding in 1968 and has continued to do so. Currently there are over 100 Long & McQuade stores across Canada, as well as an online store that opened in 2008.

The company employs over 2,000 Canadian musicians and contracts approximately 1,000 Canadian music teachers from coast-to-coast. To this day, the entire company is still 100% owned by the Long family. While Jack was still involved as an advisor until his passing in 2024, his sons Steve and Jeff now run the day-to-day operations of the company.
