Join Jake Robertz and Kelly Spriggs from Night Vision Music Academy as they demonstrate some techniques to start building the foundations of your electronic music career. This two-hour workshop will make use of Ableton and its core features to produce your first beats. It will also focus on Serato as a performance tool so that you can start mixing a live set of your own. This is geared towards beginners who have yet to start on their music journey and are looking for somewhere to start. Equipment is not necessary to bring to this workshop but if you have a copy of Ableton and/or Serato you are welcome to bring your laptop and follow along.

Join award-winning vocalist Mallory Chipman as she leads a participation-based workshop that explores personal vocal expression and interpretation through the lenses of vocal paraphrasing, ad-libbing and riffing, and scat singing. This workshop is open to singers of all levels and all genre backgrounds. Vocalists are welcome to bring in sheet music or a lead sheet for a piece they'd like to explore, but it is not required.
