Professionalism and Etiquette of a Performing Artist with Tyson Sullivan
Tyson will discuss topics such as choosing appropriate venues for your content, forms of acceptable payment/budgeting tactics, time management for shows, and table etiquette to practice towards your peers, audience and clients. Tyson is a professional musician and teacher at Long & McQuade Kingston.

Building Acoustic Instruments with Ross Chiasson
In this clinic we look at the building process for acoustic instruments, and is designed for anyone interested in building an acoustic instrument from a professional in the field. Ross will also have some of his own builds on hand. Ross' musical studies culminated with a Masters degree in guitar performance from the University of Ottawa after which he studied guitar construction with Sergei de Jonge in Chelsea, QC. He is currently a repair tech at Long & McQuade Kingston.

DJ 101 with SF Marketing's Brennan Galley
Learn about the different feature sets of entry level to step up Pioneer DJ Controllers. Brennan witll also cover how to connect a controller to a PA system and booth speaker, preparing a track for playback with headphones, the fundamentals of mixing in key and in time, and what to consider with the choice between RekordBox and Serato.

Creative Improvisation Ensemble with Don Dawson
Unlock your individual improvisation skills with award-winning arts educator Don Dawson. String players will unlock their inner creative mind by improvising as an ensemble and as individuals. Using various hand signs and cues, players will improvise on their instruments as a full ensemble to create an instant, spirited composition. No improvisation experience is necessary and no sheet music is required.

Single Drum Theory with Jeff Towers
This is an interactive event where you are invited to bring a snare drum and brushes! You can participate in the clinic and learn along with the instructor, Jeff Towers, a Mapex drum artist.

Pipe Organ Enthusiast and Introduction to Pipe Organ with Lisa Paszkowski
Pipe organs are the biggest, coolest, and most complex musical instrument in the world! In this clinic we are going to build a fully functioning, table-top, hand-pump powered pipe organ. Two sessions will run; one for kids and one for adults. Lisa is a Long & McQuade Repair Technician and an organ enthusiast.

Hands on Saxophones with Lisa Paszkowski
In this clinic we will entirely disassemble a saxophone to see how all of the parts fit together, and to learn about the mechanics of how the instrument works. All ages and levels of player are invited; even if you don’t play the saxophone.

Music Therapy with Jess Nielsen & Hayley Francis-Cann
Join professional music therapy instructors Jess and Hayley as they discuss music therapy and how it benefits our community. The clinic will include musical performances and an interactive discussion.
