Songwriting 101 - A Unique Approach with Andrew Somerville

Have you ever wanted to write a song? Have you ever had some chords but couldn't find a melody? Have you ever had a melody but couldn't find the chords? These questions are far easier to answer than you've been led to believe, and using the simplest of keyboard techniques (3 or 4 fingers!), you'll soon be writing great tunes. For those piano-phobic guitar players in the house, you'll be relieved to know that writing catchy songs with your guitar is just as easy. Remember, you don't have to study in the finest kitchens of Paris to make a great bowl of chilli. From jazz to jugband, mariachi to metal, Andrew Somerville has performed, studied and taught music in Canada, The U.S. and Mexico.
