Drum Clinic with Randy Black

You won’t want to miss this drum clinic presented by Long & McQuade, Pearl Drums, Aquarian Drumheads, Sabian Cymbals & Wincent Drumsticks. Randy Black is a Canadian-born Rock/Metal drummer and recording artist known best for his stints as the drummer for Click, Bif Naked, Annihilator, Rebellion, Skew Siskin, DuskMachine and Primal Fear. He has a playing style that is notable for his ability to play ambidextrously with a symmetrical set of cymbals; specifically, a dual set of remote hi-hats and ride cymbals to his right and to his left respectively.

A Beginner's Guide to Auditioning for Musical Theatre with Theo Budd

Join us for a discussion on how to audition for a musical theatre production. This clinic will cover everything from submitting your resume and headshot to picking your audition material, and will provide helpful tips on how to present yourself in the room. Whether you're brand-new to musical theatre or just getting back into it after a hiatus, this clinic can help you get successfully from the audition room to the stage. Theo Budd is a graduate of the UBC School of Music and Capilano University's musical theatre program. He is also a voice teacher, actor, singer, dancer, producer, and music director in Vancouver and around Western Canada.

Learn the basics of what you need to capture your music using your computer. From hardware to software, learn what components are necessary and how to set up your new gear to begin recording in minutes. With more than 30 years of studio and recording experience, Ray spends much of his free time educating others in the art of audio engineering. By day he is a Sales Manager at Yorkville Sound; by night he is the owner of Synergy Studio in Pickering, Ontario, working with local artists in the Toronto area.
