Junior Rock
Ages 9-13
July 6-17 • Weekdays 10 am - 3 pm
Final Concert July 18 @ 11 am
You will be playing current and classic hits from many rock styles and bands.
All participants should have at least 1 year of playing experience with instruction. If you haven’t been to the camp before you must attend an audition.
Auditions will be held as soon as an appointment can be arranged. Call 902-496-6986 (Bedford Lesson Centre)
In consideration of the other students, registrants who do not play at the required level will be asked to withdraw (and their fees will be refunded).
Senior Rock
July 20-31
Ages 14-19 • Weekdays 10am - 3pm
Final Concert July 31 @ 7 pm
History of Rock Concert July 29 @ 7 pm
The focus is on practical skills needed to play and jam in a band. Your group will perform different songs in two concerts. You will be playing current and classic hits from many rock styles and bands.
All participants should have at least 2 years of playing experience with instruction. If you haven’t been to the camp before you must attend an audition.

DAILY SCHEDULE (for Junior and Senior Rock):
10 am Camp meeting followed by group instruction on your instrument.
11 am Styles Class - study a variety of different styles from blues, to classic rock, to funk and beyond.
Noon Lunch (not provided though we do escort those with permission to various fast food establishments)
1 pm Jam and rehearse with your band led by a professional coach.
2:30 pm A concert or demo by various professional musicians.
Production
This is a 4-week workshop in which you learn all that is required to produce a full stage rock concert. Under the direction of a sought-after professional sound tech from the Metro area, you will have hands-on experience in all aspects of producing quality sound and lighting, including setting up the stage for each of the daily concerts, the PA’s in the classrooms for our rockers, and producing the final concerts of the Junior and Senior camps.
10 am to 3 pm Monday through Friday plus the Junior and Senior Concerts. 9 am early drop off option. Help with setup during the first week of July (date to be determined) and take down August 1st will be highly appreciated.
FEES:
$550 for Junior Rock
$550 for Senior Rock
A deposit of $200 is required to register.
The remainder is due June 1st. Registration opens December 1st, 2019.
