with Josh Rickard 

Josh is a multi instrumentalist, composer, and music educator with over 30 years of performing and teaching experience. Josh composes music for film, television, and several band and solo projects. He performs with The Boss Novas, a contemporary surf instrumental band, and the Josh Rickard Trio, which features Josh's particular brand of Jazz.  He is one of our guitar teachers in our Red Deer studios.

with Justin Arndt

Is your guitar in need of some TLC? Join Justin Arndt  for a crash course on getting your instrument playing and sounding its best. Learn the ins and outs of setup procedures, get the low down on tools and products, and review general maintenance tips and tricks so you can spend less time Googling and more time playing.

Justin is a guitar technician at our Red Deer location and has been with Long & McQuade since 2020, earning both his Fender and Taylor certifications and spending countless hours in the shop.

with Morgan McKee

If you've ever thought about recording but are not sure where to start, this is the place to be. Morgan will show you everything you need to know, from the basic tools necessary to how to hook it all up to recording tracks and mixing. 

Morgan has been working as a recording engineer and producer for the better part of 3 decades. His work on film, commercials, studio albums and now on websites and theatrical productions has been heard all over the world.

10 Practical Tips for Everyday Drummers
with Carlos Copaban

Carlos showcases basic concepts such as ergonomics, practice time, tuning performance and applied percussion for drummers of all walks of life. He will expand on these topics with realistic and helpful touring, studio and performing tips.

With 35 years of experience and performances in 14 countries, Carlos loves to share his passion for drumming. He is now in his 10th year teaching at our Red Deer location.
