Winnipeg piano composer Julianne Warkentin will speak from the heart about the healing power of music in her life. She will also perform her published beginner to advanced compositions and share the inspiration and process behind each one. Many of her compositions are inspired by the nature, people, animals and vast beauty of Canada. Her wish is that you will be encouraged in your own musical journey and inspired to compose!

Julianne Warkentin (ARCT, RMTA, AMAF) is a creative Manitoba composer, piano and theory teacher, festival adjudicator, performer and presenter. Her works have been published by Conservatory Canada, CNCM Northern Lights & Making Tracks series and Debra Wanless music.
