Making Ambient Music for Video Games with Taleweavers Alliance FREE Workshop - North Bay

Using free software instruments and samples, this workshop will teach you the basics of creating moody, atmospheric music similar to soundtracks for games such as Silent Hill, Portal, and Minecraft. You’ll learn how to make tracks that use simple musical ideas and effects to convey emotion.

Taleweavers Alliance is an Indigenous-led and queer-led collective based in Nipissing Territory, dedicated to amplifying the voices of underrepresented youth through storytelling and digital media arts. We are currently working on a visual novel featuring several stories written by Ontario youth.
