Hybridizing Your Guitar
With Kevin Closs

Alternative tunings can help inspire creativity, but you can also "hybridize" your guitar using any combination of pitches and string gauges. From Keith Richards to Paul Simon to David Gilmour, guitarists have been modifying their instruments to create an original voice. Kevin will show how he developed his own hybrid tuning and how it helped him radically expand his musical palette.

Kevin Closs is a singer-songwriter from Sudbury. Since 1989 he has released twelve albums including his latest, Kicking Thorns.
