A beginner to intermediate clinic covering setup, microphone selection and placement, and mixing a band for live performance.         

Matt Facca is a mixer, recording engineer and producer from Saskatoon. He was a student at the Recording Workshop in Chilicothe, Ohio, graduating in 2008, and began recording local projects in Saskatoon in 2009 at his home studio.  With over 15 years’ experience, Matt is in high demand as a recording and live sound engineer.

With Eileen Laverty

Eileen will be discussing the aspects of songwriting and sharing her insights and experiences!

Originally from Belfast, Ireland, Eileen’s family emigrated to Canada when she was six and, while she calls herself a Prairie girl, her Irish roots run deep. With her signature blend of folk, Celtic, and contemporary sounds, Eileen’s music speaks to themes of love, hope, and resilience, resonating deeply with listeners of all ages.

Eileen’s music has been featured in film and television, and landed her performances with a diverse range of artists, including the late country legend Kenny Rogers, rocker Tom Cochrane, Canadian tenor John McDermott, and the Saskatoon Symphony Orchestra.
