In this clinic, Jeremy will discuss:

• Songwriting techniques - How to lyrically craft your store.
• Song structure - How to create and arrange a song for the biggest impact.
• Song deconstruction - Jeremy will discuss and deconstruct one of his own songs.

This will be a very interactive clinic, so bring all your questions!

Jeremy McLeod is an energetic and imaginative singer-songwriter. Moving from Saint John NB to Edmonton at the age of 15, he quickly became an active member of the scene there, performing and writing in bands including MILQ and Nicholas Rage for almost 20 years. While there, Jeremy attended MacEwan University and received his Music diploma. Back in Saint John, Jeremy focuses on teaching voice, performance, and songwriting.

With Tracey Tiffin

Back by popular demand! In this workshop, Tracey will discuss:

• Truss rod adjustment - the purpose of the truss rod and how to perform basic adjustments to optimize neck relief
• Tuning and maintenance - guidance on establishing a regular maintenance routine, including tuning, string cleaning, and inspection for any issues
• Humidification 101 - learn how and why!          

Tracey Tiffin has been playing guitar for 48 years. He has played most styles of music and, through extensive gigging, has come to understand the importance of regular guitar maintenance. Tracey is the guitar repair technician at Long & McQuade Saint John.
