Boasting a strong educational background, Dickson is a York University graduate with an Honours Bachelors of Fine Arts in Jazz Theory and Performance, and a Masters in Musicology. This is no surprise as Dickson is a true musicologist having a massive range in musical taste. With 15+ years of performance experience, including touring alongside Canadian mainstays Protest the Hero and Intervals, Dickson has developed a strong technical proficiency and understanding of performance and musicality.
