Emmanuelle Caplette - From Basics to the Big Leagues - Cornwall, Kingston

As part of Long & McQuade's Drum & Percussion Month, our Cornwall location is happy to host Emmanuelle Caplette for our first Drum Clinic!

Emmanuelle Caplette began her journey in drum corps at the age of 9. For over 8 years, she played the snare drum with various groups in Quebec. During those years, she won several awards, including first place at the Provincial Individual Interpretation Championship of Quebec for four consecutive years. Emmanuelle studied at Cégep de Drummondville and the University of Montreal in Pop/Jazz drumming.

In recent years, Emmanuelle has participated in internationally renowned drumming festivals and given clinics around the world, including Canada, Asia, Europe, and the United States. Her YouTube channel currently has over 20 million views. In 2021, she released a successful training book titled “Smile! You’re Drumming!”. She won the Jim Chapin Award, which recognizes an educator who has demonstrated excellence in inspiring and informing drummers worldwide through their teaching.
