In the early 1960s , Francisco Martínez Clavel saw the potential of a classic of Spanish culture: the guitar. He proposed to his partners Ricardo Llorens and José María Vilaplana, who ran a small carpentry workshop in Muro de Alcoy (Alicante), the creation of a prototype of a classical Spanish guitar. Thus a dream was born in the form of an instrument that, after the success of the first model, inspired the founding of "Manufacturas Jachi" and laid the foundations of a brand that continues to shine today. In 1965 , after years of growth and the entry of new partners who contributed their vision, "Manufacturas Alhambra, SA" was born. Since then, the company has grown to position itself as a world leader in the creation of high-quality string instruments, bringing the essence of the Spanish guitar to more than 70 countries .
