The Limited Edition ES-335 PRO brings a vintage workhorse into the future with Epiphone's Alnico Classic PRO humbuckers and coil-splitting. The original ES-335 was a breakthrough guitar design when it was introduced in 1958. In many ways, the "335" was every bit as revolutionary as the solid-body Les Paul. The ES-335 put classic guitar styling - like the iconic archtop profile and violin inspired f-holes - into the hands of kids who were hungry to play rock and roll and look cool. The ES-335 was light. It was loud. And it definitely wasn't a traditional jazz guitar. Best of all, it was a new sound.

Now, Epiphone introduces the Ltd. Ed. ES-335 PRO, a new take on the legendary semi-hollowbody archtop with all the classic ES-335 features, but now with Epiphone's Alnico Classic PRO pickups with coil-splitting along with the superb build quality and great sound that you've come to expect from Epiphone. Finicky vintage models (with vintage problems) can't compete with the Ltd. Ed. ES-335 PRO, which is simply one of the best deals going today for guitar players who want the classic sound of an ES-335 at an affordable price.

This copy of the famous 335 is simply great. The tone knob splitter to single coils, and the better neck inlays makes the Pro a better guitar than the "dots" offered by the same manufacturer, so obviously the price point is a bonus (lower than the Dot). The guitar plays well, and tonally is tough to tell from the Gibson model except to the very well trained ear. (I'm betting a blind test would stump the purist). I've gigged this guitar often with no disappointments playing jazz, blues and fusion. All round a favorite.

I bought this guitar in early November. Tried a couple of solid bodies but found them a little too heavy for my taste. In addition to the beautiful finish, the ES 335 was a perfect weight, balance and feel with a multitude of tones available due to the coil splitting ability and an incredible price point you’d be hard pressed to beat. This is my first electric and I can’t seem to put it down!

I have always wanted a Gibson ES-335 but they’re very expensive. This guitar is awesome and a definite bargain at its price and has become one of my favourites. I have a Gibson LP and there is a definite quality difference between the two brands and that goes without saying, but this really is a great guitar and very enjoyable to play. The rosewood fingerboard is also a nice feature since most Epiphones have Laurel now which I’m not a fan of. Only had one issue with the saddles being uneven but one of the techs fixed that for me.

I’ve loved everything about this guitar over the 4 years I’ve played it. Just wanted to caution that when removing the knobs, they can be tight, and the push-pull pot shaft stem pulled right out of the pot.

Always wanted an es335 cause of guys like Alvin Lee, Larry Carlton, Otis Rush, BB and Freddie, etc etc. To me it is the prettiest guitar model of any brand and arguably one of the most versatile and iconic guitars ever. I picked this up and have not put it down since the first week of October. It sounds great acoustically and I love the wide and light feel of this guitar. Stuck some 11's on it and it is just lovely. Really love the finish as well. Love the coil splitting and the volume and tone controls are very responsive. It pays off to roll off the volume and tone on this thing. The alnico pros are great! I dont think I will be swapping them out. Sound just as good as my 57 classics in my goldtop. Love the headstock and pineapple and the wilkinson tuners feel very solid. The only thing wrong with mine is a little imperfection on the binding at the 9th fret but I couldnt care less and is not a worthy flaw to return the guitar at least to me. Would recommend to any beginner looking to get into semi hollow bodied guitars or anyone who just wants a semi hollow to add to the arsenal for good price. It is quite remarkable how good over seas guitars have become. Epiphone is really doing some great things.

I have had this guitar for a year now, and I am just an average player who likes to make noise. But this guitar makes me sound good, because it is so easy to play. Beginner, or Pro, this is an awesome guitar for anyone. Not being a guitar snob, and self taught, I played the Gibson as well. I found no difference other than the considerable price gap!!!

Just received this yesterday as a birthday present from my wife. Plays just wonderful right out of the case. To be honest it sounds, feels and plays much nicer then my Les Paul Studio which, used, cost almost twice as much and even after two hours of playing I did not have to re tune. Holding this beauty, and she is a beauty, is sheer pleasure as it feels natural and comfortable when playing. The split coils are fun and this baby can put out some great tone. Great for finger-picking as well. Paired with my Fender Mustang 3 V2 amp ..WOW! Buy this!!!!

If you are looking for an es-335 style guitar, look no further. The epiphone es-335 pro is an excellent instrument at an unbelievable price. I have not played a Gibson 335, so I can't really compare the two; however, I can say that the sound of this guitar is comparable to the quality of a Gibson tone. There are a number of youtube videos blind testing the two. The difference is really subtle. The bottom-line: the absolute best quality for price ratio I've yet to discover in an instrument.

I've owned this guitar for about 2 months now, and I haven't been able to put it down since I got it. I've dreamed of getting a 335 for over a year, and as soon as I was able to afford the Epiphone Dot, this guitar came on the market. Not only is it less expensive than the Dot, but it has more features than it too. The coil-split option is fantastic and I can get so much variety in tone options. It stays in tune incredibly well. Everyone I've talked to said that the Iced Tea looks better than the Vintage Sunburst. Needless to say, this guitar is everything I was dreaming of and more. Magnificent.

I was gonna replace the pickups, Nah! They roar! The Neck is unreal and plays like a dream. I Honestly cant recommend this guitar enough. If i dropped 1200 on it id still say the same thing. Its rare to get such greatness for the Money.

Performance Warranty Banner

Protect your investment with the Long & McQuade Performance Warranty

A warranty can be a very important factor when making a buying decision. Because repairs can be very expensive in terms of parts and labour costs, manufacturers usually only provide one year limited warranties that generally only cover items that malfunction due to a manufacturer’s defect. With an important purchase such as a musical
instrument or piece of studio gear, however, many people want to have the peace of mind in knowing that their investment will be protected should the product no longer be performing at 100%.

Because of this, Long & McQuade provides our customers with a FREE one-year Performance Warranty on most of our products. The Long & McQuade Performance Warranty supplements the manufacturer’s warranty to ensure that our customers receive complete “no hassle” warranty coverage within their first year.

How does the Long & McQuade Performance Warranty differ from most manufacturers' warranties?
  • Performance Guarantee: Normal wear and tear is covered, so your product will be performing as well as the day you purchased it for the entire duration of the coverage. Band and Orchestral Performance Warranty does not include replacing pads or cleaning for woodwind instruments, unless deemed necessary by our repair staff. Ultrasonic cleaning for brass instruments will be provided if deemed necessary by our repair staff, but is not routinely offered under the Performance Warranty.
  • Product Replacement: If your product cannot be fixed or costs too much to fix, we will replace it with the equivalent model for no additional charge. If this is not possible, a full refund will be provided.
  • No Lemon Policy: Your product will be replaced should the same problem occur multiple times.
  • Convenient: Easy drop off and pick up of the product at any Long & McQuade location.
  • Guitar Setup: Guitars purchased at Long & McQuade come with 1 free setup, to be redeemed within 1 year for new guitars and 90 days for used guitars.
  • Loaners Available: A loaner product may be given while the product is being repaired.
  • Power Surge Protection: Your product is covered even if damaged from a power surge.
  • Accessory Coverage: Any peripheral devices or accessories that come with your product (i.e. foot pedal, case) are also covered.
  • Commercial Use Coverage: Music and recording professionals who purchase gear for “heavy-use” commercial purposes will still be covered.

Long & McQuade reserves the right to restrict the purchase of additional years of Performance Warranty. Used products come with a 3-month Long & McQuade Performance Warranty. Some products (i.e. computers, software, cymbals and other items) are covered only by the manufacturer‘s warranty. Consumables (i.e. strings, reeds, drum sticks, batteries, tubes, cross faders) are excluded as they are designed to be replaced. Cosmetic Damage, Accidental Damage, or problems caused by Humidity or Temperature Issues are not covered. Speakers damaged by overpowering are generally not covered. Our coverage does not provide compensation for loss of use. As of June 2018 the Performance Warranty is no longer transferable. The warranty is only valid in Canada.

Purchasing additional years of coverage

Some manufacturers provide warranties for longer than 1 year; however, these are usually limited warranties that do not provide the same coverage as the Long & McQuade Performance Warranty. Customers interested in more complete and convenient (but not necessarily longer) coverage are still able to purchase additional years of the Performance Warranty.

If you are interested in receiving this coverage for longer than one year, you have the option of purchasing additional years of the Performance Warranty. The pricing is as follows:

  • NEW products: 4% of the current new selling price to double the warranty from 1 year to 2 years. 4% for each additional year.
  • USED products: 4% of the current new selling price to increase the warranty from 3 months to 1 year. 4% for each additional year.
  • GUITARS: 4% of the current new selling price to double the warranty from 1 year to 2 years. 4% for each additional year. $45 maximum. An additional free setup is not included with additional purchased years of Performance Warranty.
  • BAND and ORCHESTRAL instruments: 4% of the current new selling price to double the warranty from 1 year to 2 years. 4% for each additional year.
