Fiddler, jigger and singer, she has been immersed in the traditional environment since her birth. It is in particular in her family, through the learning by oral tradition, that she develops since her young age knowledge as well as a great passion for the living arts.

Daniel Paquette is an experienced teacher passionate about sharing his knowledge of drums. Since 2019, he has taught at the Jocelyne Laberge school in Châteauguay and, since 2021, he has shared his expertise with students at the Fanfano music school. With his many years of experience as a drummer on cruises (2007-2015), Daniel brings a practical and dynamic dimension to his lessons.

Born in Coimbra, Portugal, in 1982, José Brites began playing guitar at the age of twelve. Initially self-taught, he went on to study classical guitar at the music conservatory. His journey into jazz began with private lessons, and developed as his concerts progressed. In 2021, José obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with a specialization in jazz studies from Concordia University (Montreal), where he was mentored by Greg Amirault, Chemtov and Sage Reynolds (all from McGill University, Montreal).
With 10 years of teaching experience and over 15 years on stage, José specializes in a variety of plucked string instruments, including guitars (classical, electric and Portuguese), bass and cavaquinho. With a wealth of experience in studio recording, production and arranging, José performs regularly on the Montreal scene alongside musicians such as Suzi Silva and Victoria Malenfant. He has also collaborated on numerous musical projects, including Ultrafox, Space Cowbell, Fad'AZZ, and many others.
Passionate about passing on his knowledge, José is a seasoned musician with many years' experience in private teaching.
Over the years, he has had the pleasure of accompanying students of all ages and levels, from enthusiastic beginners to more advanced musicians. His teaching method, focused on adapting to each student's individual needs, has enabled him to create a stimulating and personalized learning environment.Thanks to his hands-on expertise and deep commitment to his students, José has developed an educational approach that brings out the best in everyone, while cultivating a lasting passion for music.

Ehoule Kouao Michel is a professional drummer with several years of stage experience in Ivory Coast, Switzerland, Morocco, and now Quebec. He also shares this passion as a drum teacher, enthusiastically passing on his knowledge.

He began his musical career in his elementary school choir. In high school, he studied both clarinet and saxophone, getting involved in several musical projects. His passion for music led him to perform with several small and large ensembles. He is interested in writing and arranging music, as well as chamber music and symphony orchestra repertoires. As an adult, Marc studied ensemble conducting with trumpeter and conductor André Gauthier. As part of his bachelor's degree in music education, he studied classical clarinet at UQAM with Martin Carpentier, clarinetist with the Orchestre Métropolitain de Montréal. Marc has long been interested in all wind instruments, and is not afraid of musical challenges. His professional experience has led him to conduct young people in school settings as well as adults in musical theatre settings. He has been teaching clarinet, saxophone, flute and trumpet privately for over 15 years, and continues to hone his teaching skills at university.

Originally from Mexico. Holds a bachelor's degree in singing under the tutelage of tenor David Ramírez. His opera roles include: Betto di Signa in Gianni Schicchi, Papageno in Die Zauberflöte, Baron Douphol in Verdi's La Traviata, El Gallo in the musical Les Fantastiques, and “Gregorio” in C. Gounod's opera Romeo y Julieta. He plays the role of “Barber” in the musical L'homme de la Mancha, directed by Gordon Campbell with the Sinaloa Arts Orchestra. He has taken advanced vocal training courses with international opera singers such as sopranos Abby Furmansky and Ailyn Pérez, mezzo-sopranos Gail Dubinbaum and Graciela Araya, tenors David Ramírez and Francisco Araiza, Sthephen Costello, baritones Jesús Suaste, Carlos Serrano, Luis Girón May, Álvaro Ramírez, Fernando Martínez, Stephen Salters, and as vocal coaches Rogelio Riojas, Ángel Rodríguez, and Zarzuela Workshop with Leopoldo Falcón. He currently resides in Canada and is undertaking artistic projects.

Sarah's musical journey began at the age of 10 when she discovered her passion for the piano. She quickly immersed herself in her studies at the Royal Conservatory of Music, earning her A.R.C.T. after 5.5 years of dedicated practice. Over the years, Sarah's love for music led her to explore a variety of instruments, including percussion, violin, cello and voice. In high school, she played piano in her jazz band and percussion in her concert band, all while competing and touring in the Kiwanis Music Festivals at both regional and national levels.
Her passion for music extends beyond performance, as she also teaches beginner to intermediate students, helping them prepare for RCM examinations and competitions. Sarah is committed to inspiring others to fall in love with music, particularly the piano, through her lessons at Long & McQuade. Her enthusiasm for both performing and teaching continues to fuel her dedication to music education.

Scott gives equal priority to the immediate enjoyment of music and moving towards your long-term goals. Always entertaining and informal, Scott is equally comfortable following a traditional path to learning guitar as he is giving you the immediate technical and theoretical tools to play, sound like and transcribe the songs of your favourite artists. From Zakk Wylde to Chet Atkins and rockabilly to neo-classical metal, Scott is ready to accompany you on your learning path. Scott has worked as a teacher in several domains for over ten years and has played guitar for 35 years. He learns in a fundamental way so that everything he knows he is able to impart to his students with economy and clarity.

Victoria Malenfant is a French vocalist based in Montreal and the recipient of the first prize at the 2022 Sutton Jazz Festival’s Emerging Artist Competition. She has performed in musicals such as Le chant de Saint-Carmen de la Main (Daniel Bélanger), Company (Stephen Sondheim), and Footloose by Productions 90, in addition to co-composing and performing the soundtrack for the new magic and circus show La Reine des Rats by Productions Old Charlotte. The singer has appeared at two jazz festivals: Sutton Jazz Fest in August 2023 and T.U. Jazz Fest in September 2024. In January 2024, she released her first EP, Live Session at Sud-Ouest Studio, produced entirely independently. In addition to being a backing vocalist for the maloya band Kozé, she also devotes her time to teaching singing, practicing an Afro-Brazilian martial art, and crocheting.
