The JP15 features a lightweight Okoume body with a figured maple top, available in Red Tide, Green Tiger Eye, Ultramarine, and Amber Waves finishes. It includes a roasted figured maple neck and fingerboard that is thin and fast, with a hand-rubbed oil and wax finish for a smooth, comfortable feel. The electronics feature custom DiMarzio Illuminator pickups, a piezo bridge system that delivers convincing acoustic tones, and an onboard 20dB gain boost for tonal versatility. The piezo system supports mono or stereo output, with the option to send the piezo signal to a separate signal chain. Available in 6- or 7-string configurations, the JP15 also includes a Music Man JP tremolo, 3-way toggle pickup selector, and a Music Man hardshell case.
