Description
The EF86 BOOSTER is a boutique all-analog vacuum tube pedal using a pentode to deliver warm, clean gain for overdriving amplifier inputs or other pedals. This unique design minimizes current consumption while still providing high voltage for proper tube operation. Tons of headroom!
Dial in your desired amount of tubey warmth via the DRIVE control. The following scope photos show low (clean), medium, and high drive waveforms. Plenty of 2nd order (octave) harmonics, independent of frequency! With TONE control all the way up, you get a treble booster frequency response very similar to a TS.
