Description
The King 3B trombone is a hall of fame instrument in the jazz world. Dating all the way back to the mid 20th century, these horns built their reputation through their use in the golden era of big band and jazz combo recordings. With their design largely unchanged in nearly 100 years, their sounds remains synonymous with the classic American trombone sound.
Normally seen without the F attachment, King has successfully preserved the beloved 3B sound while offering the benefits of a trigger system. The horn keeps its .508" small bore for excellent control and projection in all registers of the instrument while the yellow brass construction and 8" brass bell delivers the bright and full sound this trombone is known for. All the while the F attachment unlocks a new low register and allows for easier combinations of slide positions, great for section and solo playing alike.
