This 10-ply cherry/poplar/cherry 13x8 snare from British Columbia's Jeff Woods at Woods Custom Drums delivers a great balance of depth, punch, and sensitivity. The 10-ply cherry/poplar/cherry shell offers a warm, focused tone with a nice blend of body and projection—plenty of low-end from the deeper shell, while the 13" diameter keeps things tight and responsive.

Outfitted with premium Dunnett hardware, including the R5 throw-off, tube lugs, and hoops, this drum is rock-solid in both feel and tuning stability. The Dunnett throw is smooth and precise, making snare engagement effortless, while the tube lugs and hoops help keep the shell more open and resonant.

This drum excels in a wide range of settings—from backbeat-heavy rock to more nuanced, dynamic playing. It tunes up easily and responds well across a broad tension range.
