This is a Gibson SJ Deluxe (early to mid 70's).
The guitar has received comprehensive professional service to ensure excellent playability and structural integrity. Minor cracking along the bass-side upper bout and near the fretboard/sound hole area has been repaired and stabilized. Additional top cracks—both between the bridge and sound hole, and behind the bridge toward the lower bout—have been addressed as well.
The instrument was re-humidified to restore optimal wood condition, and the bridge was securely re-glued (without requiring removal). To reinforce the bridge plate, PlateMate has been installed, adding long-term durability and stability.
As part of a full setup, the frets have been polished, the fretboard conditioned, and the guitar restrung with fresh Gibson G-PB12 strings. The neck relief has been adjusted, and the instrument has been fully set up, tuned, and play-tested—ready to enjoy right out of the case.
