Description
Aubert Lutherie was established in 1864 by Emile Aubert along the Madon River at Ambacourt near Mirecourt, France. This region is the cradle of the French stringed-instrument trade due to its proximity to the forests of the Vosages and the Jura. Throughout most of its history Aubert Lutherie was a maker of fine bridges, however in 1987 a stringed-instrument workshop was added, and the enterprise was gathered together in Mirecourt itself.
Alexandre Lefrancois Violin
The result of long and careful work by the Aubert violin makers, these instruments profit from the very best wood selections. The attention paid to shaping and the precision adjustment of thicknesses as well as the properties of the varnish, results in sound qualities greeted with enthusiasm by professional musicians. The beauty of tone, ease of play and an astonishing sound projection make them suitable for both orchestral and solo work.
