This clarinet is made is constructed of unstained grenadilla wood aged for a minimum of ten years to offer as warm of a tone as possible. Innovations in tone hole placement for superior intonation and greater response across the entire range of the instrument while a new barrel design delivers enough resistance allowing the player to shape the clarinets sound without worry of a heavy or sluggish feel.

The L225S is an instrument constructed in its entirety in the USA. As an instrument designed for the aspiring or advancing clarinetist, a fully wooden instrument made at an in-house workshop is a rare find. The quality of the Serenade speaks to the quality of its brand and construction.
