The 872 features a mature and rich sound produced by an instrument with excellent intonation offering the player a superior foundation for expression. The trigger equipped to this trombone allows the instrument to be tuned a semi-tone down to the key of D. The trill key offers a much greater ease of articulation while offering some extra colour to the sound of the trombone.
