The WS clarinet microphone is unique in design and function. The microphone mounts to the clarinet and features 2 cardioid microphone elements, each attached to flexible goosenecks. The elements are designed to be positioned at the bell and keys of the clarinet. AMT's dual micing technique results in a natural, authentic reproduction of the instruments sonic characteristics from over the keys as well as the sound produced from the bell. The elements feature cardioid polar patterns, which suppress residual noise and audio signal at the off-axis sections of the capsule.
