This synth features programs created by a specially selected group of professional bassists and programmers from around the world. All of the Minilogue Bass's programs have been optimized by professional bassists and synthesizer programming specialists to integrate seamlessly into any recording or performance, though they can all be edited and customized to your liking. You can adjust the thickness of the sound using the voltage-controlled oscillators and voice mode, the brightness using the filter, and more. The 100 presets were newly created just for the Minilogue Bass, and you can save up to 200 of your own sounds (100 preset programs and 100 user programs).

In addition, all programs for the original Minilogue will also work perfectly in the Minilogue Bass, giving you access to a huge library of sounds covering every possible musical and sonic genre.

The Minilogue Bass's analog synthesizer circuitry generates a sound that can't be replicated on digital hardware or software synthesizers, including its thickness, volume, and a massive sonic palette of additional harmonics. And the intuitive, customizable panel interface allows for quick changes during live performances or in the studio.

The Minilogue Bass features two voltage-controlled oscillators, a voltage-controlled filter, two envelope generators, a voltage-controlled amplifier, and a low-frequency oscillator. It incorporates the unique waveforming first introduced in the Minilogue for generating oscillator harmonics, as well as multiple ways to modulate the sound, including cross-modulation, oscillator sync, and a surprisingly powerful ring modulator. The high-pass filter includes an echo to further expand the sonic possibilities.

The Minilogue Bass's Sound Librarian lets you easily reorder and organize your instrument's programs and saves your program library to your computer. In addition to managing your programs, it's used to load factory preset libraries and additional libraries distributed by Korg. You can also load any of your existing Minilogue sounds into the Minilogue Bass using the Librarian.
