Description
Schilke, since their beginnings, have continiously upheld their reputation of crafting refined and mature instruments designed for the musician of a similar stature. With early innovations and a philosophy centered around a more free blowing feel with less resistance. Schilke trumpets quickly found favour from classically trained musicians in the orchestral idiom.
The i32 is the latest of Schilkes efforts to broaden their horizons by designing a horn that not only keeps the familiar Schilke character but is also exceptionally versatile and is happily at home with commercial and jazz playing as well.
The i32 sports the classic Schilke reverse leadpipe design, though with a new receiver design reduces weight and offers a quicker response. New innovations around the valve block, ballusters, and bracing have brought the i32 superior ergonomics and balance, while further reducing the weight. This brings greater comfort when wielding the instrument while also improving the tone by offering greater stability.
These new design features are implemented into the .460" bore chassis culminating in the #2i taper yellow brass bell with time-tested traditional craftmanship to offer a trumpet comfortable in any musical setting and welcoming to any level of player.
