The Eastman EAS650 "Rue St. Georges" takes its name from the Paris street where Adolf Sax first set up shop and began producing his namesake instrument. Honouring this heritage in more ways than title, the EAS650 delivers a warm and centered sound synonomous with the french saxophone tradition.
This saxophone is set up in a standard way ideal for those looking for a familiar ergonomic feel. The blue steel springs and Pisoni leather pads fit with nylon resonators give this instrument a strong resonance and assertive presence.
The 650 features the Eastman "R" neck. This neck has a narrower bore taper offering increased focus and a more compact landing zone for intonation.
