The iXm kit, which combines various Yellowtec recording equipment, is the ideal all-in-one solution for audio recording and editing. Choose an iXm kit with your preferred iXm microphone capsule for a ready-to-use solution for your voice recordings.

Thanks to its integrated Level Energy Arbitration (LEA) system, the iXm recording microphone is the ideal tool for capturing exceptionally high-quality interviews. LEA filters out background noise and ensures crystal-clear recordings thanks to its excellent and natural frequency response. With the iXm, achieve perfect audio levels at the touch of a button.

Interchangeable microphone capsules offer exceptional flexibility. Choose a polar pattern suited to your recording conditions and change it at any time. Thanks to the high-pass filter, the proximity effect, common with directional microphones, is eliminated. With any iXm microphone head, LEA achieves perfect frequency balance.

OPTION: Microphone head (PRO range/PREMIUM range)
PREMIUM range: Each beyerdynamic iXm PREMIUM electret cartridge is designed to capture the lowest sound pressure levels. Its directivity is more sensitive in the high frequencies, resulting in better resolution in the listening area.
PRO Series: Each Yellowtec iXm PRO dynamic cartridge is distinguished by the robustness of its sound conversion components, particularly at high sound pressure levels. Its directivity is less sensitive to high frequencies. The low responsiveness of its diaphragm can lead to varying recording results.

OPTION: Recording mode (omni/cardioid/supercardioid)
An omnidirectional model captures some of the ambient sound and is ideal for quiet environments, for example for conference room conversations or voice recordings in your office.
Choose a cardioid antenna to achieve a versatile response when interviewing in various environments, such as noisy outdoor events and venues.
Choose a supercardioid polar pattern for interviews in extremely noisy environments, such as at large events, for example sporting events, car races or concerts.
