Description
The S1 is a much improved version of the Super Dynaction with major keywork changes and some moderate changes to the bore. According to many, this is the best model ever produced by Buffet. The horn is resonant, dynamic, brilliant tone and intonation, very fast action and response and absolutely sings from low-Bb to way into the altissimo ranges. There is an evenness of tone and sound throughout the ranges of this horn and a flexibility and breadth of sound and tonality that allows this horn to be used in all genres of music. The horn is in spectacular physical condition. ~99+% original lacquer in tact. No solder or metal work. No pulldown on the neck. Only minor scratches and minimal lacquer wear throughout.
