A classic, sought after vintage snare!

This Rogers 1970's 14" x 6.5" Snare Drum - Big R is part of the private collection of J Mascis.

With roots dating back to 1849, Rogers emerged as one of the leading American drum makers in the 50's and 60's.

This Big R snare drum is similar to the Dynasonic which was made famous by Marky Ramone (of Ramones) was picked up by J because of his love for the band and their signature sound. While it's a non-US made Rogers, this 14x5.5 carries all the depth you would come to expect from J's drumming style.

Comes with the Remo heads J would come to prefer but you can swap these out to your liking and expect the fat crack that these old Rogers snares are known for. There is average chrome rust and wear for a drum this age and we have done our best to photograph this for you. Be prepared to pop this out of the box and add some depth to your kit.
