Its 5.4mm blended birch/mahogany shell is lively and responsive to suit a wide range of musical styles. Masterworks-inspired 60°-outer bearing edges and SuperHoop IIs give this snare a crisp attack and focused midrange to balance a powerful low end.
The Session Studio Select snare features shell technology borrowed from the Masters series. Its thin, resonant 5.4mm EvenPly-Six (6-ply) shell is comprised of 4-ply birch outers for focus and cut live or in the studio, along with two inner plies of furniture-grade African mahogany for warmth and balance.
