Taylor's flagship Grand Auditorium retains its sonic power with new features for a smoother playing experience and a fresh aesthetic. On this 814ce, the classic combination of Indian rosewood and Sitka spruce still delivers its signature blend of warmth, low-end presence, and high-end sparkle, elevated to new heights by V-Class bracing. Notes sustain longer, allowing the rich harmonics of the rosewood to shine with greater clarity than ever before. Advanced bracing delivers more power and accuracy across the entire tonal spectrum, for a rich, expressive sound. New features include a radius-style rosewood armrest and smoked nickel tuners, along with standard 800 Series finishes, such as a smoked ebony fingerboard sourced from Taylor's Crelicam factory in Cameroon, maple binding, rosewood binding, an abalone rosette edged with rosewood, and mother-of-pearl Element fingerboard and headstock inlays. The 814ce also features a Venetian cutaway and ES2 acoustic electronics, and comes in a deluxe hardshell case.
