Developed in 1983, “Quadura” is a 4-ply laminate that was designed as a wrap for Acousticon drumshells. Manufactured entirely in-house, it far exceeded the durability of conventional materials. Quadura was originally offered in white only, but black, Concord blue, mirror chrome and gold were soon added. Vintage sizes and tone make this drum set unique and a collector's item for any drum enthusiast.
This kit includes 12", 13", 16" toms, 22" bass drum, and 14" snare. The clear coat on the finish may have some peeling spots, but the shells are all in great shape. One original Remo Quadura lug on the bass drum has stripped threads, but is included and can be re-tapped if desired. A replacement lug is installed on the bass drum and everything is tuning and playing as expected.
