Description
The Vincent Bach 42B has acted as the flagship trombone for the Bach catalogue since the first one left the Bach shop back in the 1950s. It's over 75 year history as one of the most popular trombones available stands as testament to its excellence, having acted as the official horn of orchestral trombone sections the world over for many decades.
The 42B is built around a .547" large bore climbing to a 8-1/2" one-piece hand-hammered bell which offers great projection and maintains the beloved Bach sound and presence throughout all dynamic ranges.
The traditional wrap on this model is paired with a rotor F-attachment giving this instrument the standard features of a tenor trombone. This allows the trombone to be approachable by all levels of player. Advancing beginners will get the experience of playing a tried and true professional trombone, and those more experienced musicians can inhabit the most classic trombone sound and use it to further develop their own unique voice.
***The horn comes in its original hard-shell case. The marring on the slide has no effect on the playability of the instrument, nor does it present any worry for worsening over time.
