For the A9 model, the Adams company took the design concept of the beloved Martin Trumpets from the mid-20th century and improved upon it for greater playability with the same warm, powerful sound that many have come to desire in the past decades.

The sound, intonation, and slotting have all been improved. Melding the benefits of modern engineering and assembly techniques with the heart and soul of vintage instrument manufacturing injecting an unquantifiable feel into the horn.

The horn is built around a large .472" bore ending in a 5" yellow brass one-piece hand-hammered bell. This allows ample space for the horn to offer a warm, rounded sound. Giving a wide and layered sound in all ranges of the instrument.

The instrument is finished in a unique copper-lacquer, meaning this horn will stand out against the usual hues of modern instrument. It also comes equipped with the classic extended Martin water-keys, as homage to its decorated predecessor, while also increasing the ergonomics of the instrument.

***This instrument is housed in its original case. It also comes included with a Bach 7C mouthpiece.
