Description
Another model that honours early versions of Taylor's enduring 800 Series, the 6-string Legacy 815e combines the power and presence of the classic Jumbo body shape with the richness and warmth of the rosewood/spruce tonewood pairing. This model, voiced with traditional X-bracing, yields a bold response with chiming trebles and a throaty low end around a slight scoop in the midrange. A modern Taylor neck offers a relaxed fretting feel with easy micro-adjustability if ever needed, while the classic mustache-style bridge adds a touch of old-school flair.
Other visual cues include white binding, a three-ring rosette in green abalone, non-engraved Large Diamond fretboard inlays in mother-of-pearl, ebony bridge pins with green abalone dots, a faux-tortoiseshell pickguard, nickel tuning machines, and a glossy finish for the whole guitar.
