The Apollo Twin MkII Heritage Edition features two Unison-compatible mic preamps, allowing you to record using accurate emulations of mic preamps from Neve, API, Manley, SSL, Avalon, Helios, and Universal Audio.* Exclusive to Universal Audio, Unison is a proprietary hardware and software integration that faithfully reproduces the tone of these highly sought-after tube and solid-state mic preamps, including their input impedance, optimal operating points in the gain stage, and component-level circuit behavior.

Unison technology is also found on the front panel Hi-Z instrument input of the Apollo Twin MkII, providing perfect impedance and gain matching for guitar and bass amp models from Fender, Marshall, Ampeg and more.

Integration of the LUNA Deep Apollo recording system with a fast and natural workflow
The Apollo Twin MkII is compatible with all major DAWs, including Logic Pro, Ableton Live, Pro Tools, and many more. But it transforms into a fully integrated recording system with LUNA, a powerful recording application for Mac developed by Universal Audio. Designed to record: improved monitoring and workflows
The Apollo Twin MkII Heritage Edition offers significantly enhanced monitoring features compared to previous Apollo Twin models, including Mute, DIM, Mono, and ALT functions for speaker switching. It also includes monitor remotes and a built-in microphone for easy communication with artists or recording cues. These advanced features make it the new benchmark for professional computer-based recording.

Professional performance and scalability with the console
Apollo Twin MkII users can combine up to four Apollo Thunderbolt interfaces and six UAD-2 devices, adding I/O and DSP power as their studio grows. Once their studio is expanded with additional Apollo rack units, the Apollo Twin MkII can serve as a desktop monitoring controller while still benefiting from its increased I/O and DSP capabilities.
