If you're looking for the classic vintage tones of an 18-watt amp, it's time to listen to the king of amps: the Retro King! It's a rare amp, and we were eager to receive it.
This 18-watt Retro King combo amp is a true powerhouse with its 1x12" cabinet. This amp draws heavily on early Marshall combos. It features a dual EL-84 tube power amp, offering two channels and a tremolo effect. Channel 1 has low/high gain inputs with volume and tone controls. Channel 2 has a single input with volume and tone controls, as well as a post-phase master volume, allowing for a wide range of tones at low volumes (according to Greg V on YouTube). On this model, the master volume is modified to operate on both channels. This channel also includes a tremolo with speed and intensity controls.
