Here is a super-cool Gibson 1968 Les Paul Custom from their exclusive Murphy Lab lineup. This model is listed as "Light Aged", but it's actually a bit more than that. There is pronounced lacquer checking all over, and some lacquer is missing from the neck and touch-points. This is how real old guitars age, kids!

- non-weight-relieved mahogany body w/ maple cap
- ebony fretboard
- Custombucker pickups in neck and bridge positions
- gold hardware
- ABR-1 bridge w/ aluminum tailpiece

This is absolutely the closest new-production guitar we've seen compared to an actual vintage Les Paul of this era. Everybody knows the 68 Customs are the best, and this is the best finish for this model. It's a win-win!
