Sale Price: $100001
Description
Accessories Included: Case, Mouthpiece
The King 2B is a legendary model of trombone designed to be a classic jazz horn. The small .481/.491 dual bore offers this horn a warm sound quick to deliver some edge if required. A 7 - 3/8" yellow brass bell gives the trombone a quick response and excellent projection. The lack of F attachment lowes the overall weight of the instrument, further adding to its quick response and bouncy feel.
This trombone is noted for its facility in the high register and has been a desired horn by jazz players of all varieties for nearly a century since it first became a mainstay in the golden era of american brass playing through the 30s and 40s. Ideal for both playing lead in a big band, or delivering a fluid and layered sound in solo work.
This instrument is finished in a silver plating, offering extra depth to the 2Bs already mature sound. It features a vintage style counterweight and an ornate bell engraving to emphasize the decorated history of this instrument.
*** This instrument is housed in its original King hardshell case and comes with a Yamaha 48 mouthpiece.
