The Getzen Custom Series trumpets are an elite collection of instrument all hand-crafted by the expert craftspeople at Getzen in Elkhorn, Wisconsin. Getzen instruments have been upholding a high reputation for decades and are famed world-wide for their excellent valve action with a lifetime warranty on all Getzen valve blocks, as well as maintaining a strong identity within the classic american trumpet sound.

The 3052 features a large .462" bore, and a #125R reverse leadpipe, designed for an open feel with less resistance, while still offering good slotting. The standard weight No. 137 yellow brass bell offers excellent projection and response with a tight and compact sound. This trumpet is ideal commercial and big band players. The freeblowing nature of the horn offers a wide sound with great flexibility, furthered by the rounded tuning slide. Despite the freeblowing nature of the horn, efforts have been made to allow this horn good slotting, even up in the higher registers of the instrument.
