The PRS SE DGT (David Grissom Trem) marks the first time David Grissom's signature model has been incorporated into the SE series. Based on the McCarty, the DGT has been a consistent favorite since its introduction in 2007, thanks to Grissom's deep knowledge of vintage guitars and meticulous attention to detail. Every feature has been considered, from the neck shape and fret selection and finish to the colors, pickups, and electronic component layout.
The SE DGT features two vintage-sounding humbuckers, each with its own volume control and a push-pull master tone control that allows you to dial them in for the mellow tones of single-coil pickups. This configuration provides greater control and versatility, so you can focus on playing, not the instrument. Other features include a maple top, mahogany back, a 22-fret, 25-inch scale mahogany neck with a rosewood fingerboard, and bird or moon inlays (depending on the color).
