Ernie Ball Music Man proudly presents the Kaizen, an all-new visionary collaboration between the Ernie Ball Music Man design team and the world-renowned guitarist, innovator, and designer Tosin Abasi. Built for the modern player, the 7-string Kaizen is crafted with forward-thinking design concepts guided by Tosin Abasi's unique playing style and vision. Offered with a fully contoured alder body, roasted figured maple neck, and ebony fretboard, the multi-scale length fretboard also features an "infinity radius" that provides improved visibility of the fretboard in any playing position. The electronics include a new Music Man HT bridge humbucker, custom offset neck humbucker, and a 3-way switch wired with a custom middle position.
The fretboard is thicker on the treble side and that is the peak of the fretboard radius. It folds towards the player on the low B side. This creates better visibility of the fretboard for the player. While the roasted maple aspect of the neck is symmetric, the assymetric fretboard does create an asymmetric feel to the neck.
