Amanda has over 30 years of musical experience primarily specializing in piano, but has also done extensive choral work and performed internationally on flute. An RCM certified teacher since 2018, she has submitted students for over 100 successful exams since starting at Long & McQuade in 2014, some of which have gone on to become piano teachers themselves. As a lifelong student herself, Amanda has an intimate understanding on how important it is to tailor lesson plans to meet the individual needs and goals of each student. She believes piano lessons are about more than just the music - they allow for opportunities to learn life skills, express ourselves creatively and become the best we can be. Amanda has been offering lessons in Calgary at L&M since 2014. Her rate is $32 per half hour.

Angelina Zhang (Piano, Theory)

Angelina Zhang holds both a Master’s Degree of Piano Performance and a Bachelor’s Degree of Music Education. She has over 10 years of teaching experience, teaching children of all ages and adult learners with various backgrounds from beginners to advanced. She is a classically trained pianist with a talent for playing popular piano music. Her students learning the RCM curriculum quickly see improvement with stellar exam results. Angelina encourages her students to perform and showcase their talent in music festivals and competitions. Angelina’s students have great learning experiences combined with real progress. She is patient, passionate, and prioritizes her student’s learning needs. Prior to teaching at Royal Vista L & M Angelina taught piano in Edmonton at 2 L & M locations. Lessons can be taught in both English and Chinese Mandarin. Her rate is $31 per half hour.
